Obituary of Janine MacKay (Zakrocki)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jan on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Norman MacKay and the late Henry Zakrocki. Cherished mother of Mark Zakrocki (Kathy) and Kim Dinsmore (Daniel) and will be lovingly remembered by Normans son’s, Kevin and Curtis MacKay. Adored grandma of Rachel (Mitchell), Olivia, Kiefer (Georgia), and Wyatt (Rayann). Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Zofia Pazdrak. Dear sister of John Pazdrak (Mary Jane) and the late Teresa Pazdrak. Special aunt of Michael Pazdrak (Donna), Allyson Beauchamp (Curtis) and Sophie Nogalo (Dan). Great Aunt to Benjamin and Samuel Nogalo and Ryan Beauchamp. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friends Krys and Terri, along with many other friends at Basswood Lake.

Friends and family are invited to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, for a Celebration of Jan’s life from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or the SAH Cancer Care Fund or would be appreciated by the family.
