Obituary of Sabra Rajput-Gingras

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Sabra on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the age of 49. Beloved daughter of Akram and Jenny Rajput. Wife, best friend and forever soulmate of Michael for 16 years. Loving and influential stepmother of Mackenzie Bell. Cherished younger sister of Hussein Rajput (Suzanne Berg). Cool auntie of Leila and Aaron Rajput. Sabra will be missed by her many special friends and extended family members.

Sabra had an unmistakable “joie de vivre” that drew people to her. She expressed her creativity through art, and her love of music. Sabra had a true passion for animals, especially teaching and riding horseback. She will be missed by her many former students, barn pals and her cat, Jackie.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-775) on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
