Obituary of Julie O'Brien

Peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, December 31, 2022, with her daughter by her side, in her 78^th year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Barry. Loving mother and friend of Tracy Stoneman (Rob). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Trystin). Dear daughter of the late Sydney and the late Joyce Mather. She will be remembered by her late uncle Leslie Mather (Freda). Special cousin and friend of the late Jim Mather. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Carol Forestell (Larry), niece Alison, nephews Ryan and Tyler.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home and Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at New Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) would be greatly appreciated by the family. A very special thank you to the staff on Twin Lakes at Maple View for the care and compassion shown to Julie over the years.
