Obituary of Wayne Beek

Passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife on Monday, January 30, 2023 in his 78^th year. Beloved husband of Pat for almost 44 years. Cherished father of Janie Osman, Jim Beek (Raquel) and Scott Robinson (Amy). Proud Grandpa of Stephan (Kim), Rylee Amanda, Isobel, Alex and Younis. Dear brother of  Tom Beek (Lou), Doris Carlson (Oscar), Marilyn Wright, Terry Beek, Jeannette Elliott (Barry), Rosallan Diggins and predeceased by Jack Beek, Gloria Beek and Victor St. Jules.

Wayne was a transit driver for the City of Sault Ste. Marie for over 32 years and loved every single minute of it. He also drove the Elk’s Oncology Van for over 20 years and was an avid Elk member – he loved spending his time with his second family and sometimes spending more time with them than his own family!

A celebration of life will take place at the Elk’s Lodge at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of SSM or the Elks Lodge #341 would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to all staff of Cedarwood Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion.
