Obituary of Margaret Thomlinson

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Thomlinson. Surrounded by her loving family at Extendicare Van Daele on Saturday, February 18, 2023, three weeks shy of her 94th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Jack. She was the cherished Mother of Charlie (Wendy), Randall (Karen), Ronnie (Marion) and Bruce (Carole). Adored Grandmother of Tracy Reitzel (Brad), Marny Mrozinski (Andy), Laura Semenuk (Francis), Jeremy Thomlinson (Tasha), Amy Drouin (Kevin), Krystal Oswin-Buchanan (Alex), Bruce, Beth, John, and Tori Thomlinson. Much loved Great Grandmother of 15. Margaret was the devoted lifelong friend of Delores Evans. At long last she will be united with her loving husband Jack and her twin sons John and Jeffrey. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we are to the entire staff at Van Daele Extendicare. They went above and beyond daily in taking care of our Mom. We will forever be grateful for the respect, dignity and compassion she was shown by them. Thank you for treating her as family.

Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Holly Klemmensen officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Van Daele Residents Council or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
