Obituary of William David Higgins

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of a dear son and brother, due to health complications on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the age of 56. Beloved son of Dave Higgins (Anne) and the late Elaine Higgins. Dearly missed “little brother” of Laurie (Brian) Isaacs and niece Kaatlin Isaacs. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Jabez and Beatrice Higgins, and his maternal grandparents Ernest and Mary Pierman. A special thank you to Sgt. Troy Miller and Dr. Wakegijig for their compassion during a very difficult time. 
 

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at Goulais River Cemetery in the late spring, date to be announced at a later time.  Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada (a disease Billy struggled with for many years), or to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society (in honour of Billy’s deep love of pets) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
