Obituary of Adele Hood

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 85. Dear wife and best friend of the late Alex Hood. Predeceased by her parents Filomenia “Phil” (Radi) Romani and Charlie Radi. Beloved sister of Lorraine Simonen (Radi) (late Bobby), Shirley Radi and Stephen Romani (Bonnie). Sister-in-law of Roberta Hood (late Sherman). Daughter-in-law of the late Alexander and Lillian “Bertie” Hood. Loving aunt of Kristine (Shane), Robert, Mathew, Michael (Nancy), Shannon (Corey), Sherman (Miria), Suzanne and their children. Great-aunt of Skyler Corbett. Special cousin of Marilyn Rouleau, Nancy Pedinelli and Rita Foster.

Adele worked at the Algoma Central Railway in various departments, until her retirement in Passenger Sales. She made many friends over the years. Her friendly and kind personality made her a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed.

The Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses has arranged for a Memorial Service to be held via Zoom on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Please contact the family or zharris153@gmail.com if you would like to attend.
