Obituary of Michael Kleiman

A beautiful soul left this world in his 58^th year on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 to start his new journey. Beloved son of Larry and Sylvia Kleiman. Cherished brother of Rosalyn Adams (Glenn). Michael is also survived by his uncles Sam Kleiman and Martin Desormeaux (Susie), and aunts Paula Kleiman and Dawn Desormeaux (John). He will be missed by many, many cousins that he made a point of keeping in touch with. 

He was a free spirit who followed his dreams and had the kindest heart.  Michael travelled extensively and had friends all over the world who will miss him terribly.  Especially close were friends in Montreal, Dominique & Charles, Marc, Mario and Bruce in Toronto who were like family to him.  He was so lucky to have many other friends that travelled to see him in these last six months, as well as Melissa and Char in the Soo. 

A huge thank you to Doctors Buehner, Apostle, Booth and Spadafora and the wonderful nurses and PSWs at the Sault Area Hospital on 2C for their care and compassion. 

As per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Please join us for a celebration of Michael’s life on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Moose Lodge (543 Trunk Road) from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. to share your favourite memories. Memorial donations to ARCH or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
