Obituary of Richard Michael Beharriell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rick in his 70th year at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). Rick is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Ginette Bellerive; his children Joe (Michelle), Jesse (Becky), Ashley (Ben), Michael (Brandy); his stepsons Brandon, Jacob, and Kyle, and his loving dog Duke. Proud Papa of Autumn, Emma, Gavin, and Olive, and one more granddaughter on the way. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Carl. Brother of Barry, Kelly (late Ralph) and the late Stephen. Brother-in-law of Rhéal (Helen), Raymond, René (Lee-Ann), and Guy. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew Jason, nieces Sheena and Kayla, and many nieces and nephews on the Bellerive side. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Juliette and Alexandre Bellerive, and brothers-in-law Mario, Denis and Roger. He will be greatly missed by his many cousins, friends, and coworkers at Gardewine.

Rick was a true-blue Toronto Maple Leafs fan, loved his motorcycles, was a fantastic basketball coach, and loved getting out for a relaxing camping trip.

As per Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place in the coming weeks, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to ARCH or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses on 3A and 3B at Sault Area Hospital, and the staff at ARCH for all the wonderful care provided.
