Billy Adam

Obituary of Billy Adam

On Saturday, April 8, 2023 Dozer broke free of his physical confinements in this world and left his chair behind. Our family finds peace in knowing that he had many loved ones awaiting him with open arms.

Billy Bob is now running free, splashing in the lakes of heaven and singing among the stars. His infectious laugh will be forever heard each time the engine revs and the puddles are muddy. He was game for any adventure from Rubbernose and Ranger to Bass Lake; from Pine Portage Lodge to Disney; from Kentucky Motor Speedway to “Music City” Nashville.

Beloved son of Murray and Ivy. Inspirational big brother of Grace and Ranger. Bed hog to his pup Valkyrie Mae. Adored grandson of Bill & Connie Farrell and Bob & Donna Adam. Great grandson of Olive Jones (late Basil), Tim & Janet Leroux, late Kitty Lewis, late Alex & Ruth Farrell and the late Wray and Eunice Adam. Nephew of Bruce & Natalie Fawcett, Chuck Fawcett, Katy & Adam Zuccato and Joni Brown (Jeff). Favourite cousin of Cole, Ethan and Joey. Billy will be missed by Dan & Tiana Byrnes and their families. Forever cherished by many aunties, uncles, cousins and “Framily” both near and far.

No longer benched, Dozer can now skate with his Ottawa Senators. Although his life was short, he was able to accomplish, achieve and surpass so many of life’s goals and aspirations. His personality and palpable spirit will continue to brighten each day through the many memories and experiences he was able to create. Our world was a better place with you in it. Thank you.

A private family service was held with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Dozer’s Life on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Water Tower Inn Pavilion from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Sault Search & Rescue would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A special thank you to the Sault Area Hospital ED/ICU and Pediatric staff for their efforts and ongoing care and compassion. Our family would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our entire community that has supported, encouraged and shared in Dozer’s journey. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
