Obituary of Denise Walton

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the age of 63.  We take great comfort knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved Terry and Tara. Cherished companion of Jamie Johnston and his family. Loving mother of Todd Walton (Nicky) and Caleigh Pihlaja (Andrew) and mother-in-law of Jeff Leonard (Maegan), whom she adored. Grandma Nise loved and treasured her grandchildren Haylen and Ryker Leonard, Ryelind, Lynelie and Wyett Pihlaja. Sister of Carol (late Keith), Jan (Joe) and Peter (Marjoline).  Sister-in-law of Bonnie, Robert (Donna), late Frances and Brian (Monique).  Denise will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by her furry friends Sammi and Doofy. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Come and Go Celebration of Life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Jamie for your care and compassion shown to our mom in her final days.
