Obituary of Elizabeth Monaco
It is with broken hearts, that we announce the peaceful passing of our precious sister Elizabeth (Isabel) with her sister Elena and niece Marney by her side. We are comforted to know that she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Reno (2019). Daughter of the late Rinaldo and the late Helen Carocci. Dear sister of Brenda Thompson (Ronald) of Orillia, Elena Craftchick (Richard) and Dominica Barsanti (late Victor). Loving Auntie to her many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Maria Coccimiglio and family.
Elizabeth enjoyed traveling, bowling in leagues, an exciting game of bingo, a fun outing to the Casino and time at Haviland Bay with family. The proudest moment in her life was when she became manager of the Woolco Store on Queen Street. She loved to share memories about all the years she managed the store and all the wonderful people she met while working there.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to all the staff on Ranger Lake at Extendicare Maple View for their care and compassion shown to Elizabeth and her family.
Goodbye my family,
my life is past.
I loved you all
to the very last.
Weep not for me,
but courage take.
Love each other,
for my sake.
For those you love
don’t go away,
They walk beside you
every day.
