Obituary of L. Wayne Boissineau
Reading this means I have moved on to another adventure. It has been a wonderful earthly life and experience – I do not know what I would have/could have changes (as I often said: “I did not come with a manual”).
I tried to live by: 1) Our Lord’s Prayer and 2) “You are never dealt more than you can handle” – both have served me well.
The past 47+ years have been especially meaningful and rewarding because of my exceptionally loving and devoted wife, Betty.
I have been loved and supported by so many family members and friends in my life and I sincerely hope those same people know how much I appreciated their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, please consider ‘telling someone they are special to you’; ‘giving someone a hug’; ‘giving someone a helping hand’ or a just because donation to one my my/your favourite charities – any of which will help so many other people: ARCH, Group Health Centre Trust Fund or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
Thank you to Doctors G.M. Yee and S. Rawn for their kindness, care and for the excellent care and compassion demonstrated by the SAH ICU and Palliative Care teams as well as 3B. I am also grateful to the Bayshore Homecare nurses, Paramed, Care Partners PSWs and CBI Home Health. Without a doubt you made my home experience so much better.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave) on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
To my beloved husband, Wayne, who peacefully passed away at home. I know neither one of us ever expected to find that ‘someone special’. But God blessed us immensely with the gift of each other. I could never have had a better partner in life. Thank you to our beloved Father, but most of all, thank you Wayne.
