Obituary of Judith Roy

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and nana at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, June 16, 2023 in her 72^nd year.

Judy was loved and treasured for 56 years by her husband Jean-Marie Roy. She will be missed greatly by her three daughters: Monique Roy (Adam), Danielle Hurt (Charlie) and Jaime Roy. She will be fondly missed by her grandchildren Kaitlin Roy, Philip Gray, Tyler Gray, Alanna Gray, Wyatt Gray, Alexis Hurt, and Lucas Hurt. Cherished by her great grandson Kasey Stahl. Pebbles has lost her snuggle buddy.

Judy was born June 16, 1951 in Sault Ste. Marie, to Dolores St. Pierre and Theodore LaLonde. Loved dearly by her little brothers: Ron LaLonde (Maxine), Rick St. Pierre (Sharon), her baby sister and best friend Rachel LaLonde will miss her dearly.

At Judy’s request, a private family Celebration of Life has been held. Memorial donations to COPD Canada or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank ICU, nursing staff at the Sault Area Hospital and the staff at Northwood Funeral Home for their care and compassion.
