Obituary of Stojan Giorgief

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Danica for over 56 years. Cherished father of Olga Genua and Dimce Giorgief. Adored grandfather of Nico Genua, his zlato. Son of the late Jon and Marija Gorgievski. He will be missed by his many relatives and friends in Canada, Macedonia and Australia.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be greatly appreciated by the family. Thank you to Dr. Hooper at the SAH Geriatrics, the doctors and nurses at the SAH Emergency Department and all staff at the SAH 3B for their kindness and compassion shown to Stojan and his family.
