Obituary of Jean Peterson

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on June 30, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Loving mother of Peggi (Peter Keen), Laurie (Susan Petrie) and Judy (Orlando Blonda). Proud grandmother of Thomas, Jordan, Joshua, Sabrina, Melissa and Christina. Delighted great grandmother of Zoe, Zen and Damien. Jean is survived by her beloved sister, Peggy Thompson.

Jean was a registered nurse at Algoma Steel, a lifelong bridge player, an avid gardener, an incredible “do-it-yourselfer”, a voracious reader and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be terribly missed by those who loved her.

At Jean’s request, a private family service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
