Obituary of Rosa Chiarelli

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Rosa on Thursday, September 7, 2023. We take comfort knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband Francesco, her loving daughter Maria and her son-in-law Joe. Loving mother of the late Maria Pace (Giandomenico), Teresa LaMontagna (Ralph) and Enza Barone (late Joe). Special Nanna of Antonio “Anthony” Pace (Kathy), Cristina Martone (Anthony), Franca Gallo (Frank), Matthew and Andrew LaMontagna and Adam Barone. Great grandmother of Damian, Austin, Ethan and Grace Martone, Mia and Johnny Gallo and James Pace. Nanna was very special to her grandchildren, and they will always share the special memories of their time with her. Rosa leaves behind many nieces, nephews in Canada and Italy and many friends that she shared long telephone conversations with.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Veronica’s Church with Father Peter Nwachukwu officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. We would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Maple View Twin Lakes for the care and compassion they provided to our mother during her short stay.
