Obituary of Mary Lou McKee

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the age of 80. Dearly beloved wife of 41 years of Robert Edward “Ed”, who passed in 2017.  Cherished mother of Jaime (Nicholas) and Thomas (Candace), and mother figure of Amanda and Rachel (Ryan). Treasured grandmother of Thomas Jr., Malcolm, Dexter, Marissa, Silas, Alex, Alexis, Peyton, Mason, Serenity, and Paisley. Dear sister of Roberta Northey and Betty James. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Myrtle James and siblings David and Tommy.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association (OFRA) would be greatly appreciated by the family. We would like to thank the staff and nurses of Ontario Finnish Rest Home – Kotitalo, the team at Sault Area Hospital, and Debbie in SAH’s ICU for their care and compassion.
