Obituary of Noella Mathieu

Passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the age of 81. She leaves behind her husband and best friend Leo. Loving mother of Lee (Blanche). Caring grandmother of Josh (Emily) and Leanne (Allan) and great grandmother of Hailey and Noah. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Telesphore, also her brothers Gerry "Joe" (Jean), Adrian (Teddy), and sisters Rita (Louis), Paulette and Jeanette (Bill). She will be sadly missed by her sisters Lucille (late Paul), Doris (Dan) and Georgette (Red). Sister-in-law of the late John Mathieu (late Armelle), late Jeanne McDiarmid (late Willard), late Beatrice Mathieu, late Phillippe Mathieu (late Lina), Noel Mathieu (late Yvette), late Marcel Mathieu (late Therese), and the late Adelard Mathieu (late Pierrette). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
 

At Noella's request a cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held with her family in the summer of 2024. Memorial donations to honour Noella can be made to ARCH.
