Obituary of Yvon Lambert Sr.
Always showing his strength never giving up and after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Yvon Sr., peacefully at his home as he had always wanted with his son by his side. He has now reunited with the Lord and all those he had lost before. Beloved Husband of the late Yvette Lambert (Leblanc). Father of the late Normand Lambert and his youngest Yvon Lambert Junior (Kathleen). Dad (Pepere) had a lot of love for his grandchildren Julie (Jackson), Jennifer, Jessica and James as well as his much-loved great grandboys James Jackson and Joseph Ivan who kept him on his toes. They will miss their Grand Pere. Beloved son of the late Theodore Brassard, Cecile Royer and Raymond Lambert. He will be missed by his siblings, Gisele Servant (Ed), Francine Curtis (Steve), Diane Carriere (George), and the late Richard Lambert (Lynn).
Dad, I know it will be a struggle not having you here with me, but I know you are no longer suffering and at peace with our lord. It will not be the same watching hockey without you, sitting on the deck just talking about life, talking hunting and fishing or you being the person I talk to first every morning and before I go to bed. I leave this the same way you did with me every night before bed, Dad I love you, get some rest and have a great sleep we will talk soon.
Special thank you for all your help and respect shown from Officer J. Creedon as well as the SSM Paramedic and Fire Department. As per Dads wishes he wanted to be cremated and reunited with his Wife, Son and Mother and Father-in-Law. To follow with Dads strong Catholic faith, all are invited if you wish as there will be a graveside service and blessing prior to his interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if you choose, please make a donation in his name to the Parkinson's Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
