Obituary of Dennis Rinaldi
It is with extreme sadness that we announce in the early morning of Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Sault Area Hospital, after a two-year struggle with cancer, Dennis Jr. passed away peacefully with his parents by his side. He will be forever loved and missed by his parents Dennis and Carol Rinaldi (Mann), sister Natasha Rinaldi (Ashley Fernandez), cherished nieces Allie and Emma Thiffault, sister-in-law Brianna Thiffault, and uncle Bobby Mann (Sandra). Reunited and welcomed into the loving arms of his little brother Jeffery Rinaldi, grandparents Isabelle “gramma Biz” Rinaldi and Cardinal “grampa Cardi” Rinaldi, grandparents Rose and Richard Mann, uncle Gary “Gully” Mann, and aunt Victoria “Vicky” Mann. Many cousins, aunts, and friends will lovingly remember him.
In addition to his quick intellect, and ability to make other’s laugh, Dennis was skilled on the basketball court, and was a winning tournament level pool player. Following in his family’s footsteps, Dennis was a phenomenal cook, passed down from generation to generation starting with his great grandfather Mike who founded Mike’s Lunch. Dennis was passionate about his music, enjoyed several concerts with friends over the years, and showcased this dedication with his treasured album and CD collections. Through the wind and the curves of the road, Dennis found liberation on the two wheels of a motorcycle, and leaves behind a legacy of adventure and thrill. May your spirit soar now Dennis, embracing the freedom of your journey.
On behalf of Dennis, the family would like to extend gratitude to Doctor Maloney for going above and beyond, always believing in him, and for the extra care he gave after the passing of his brother Jeff in 2022. As well, a special thanks to Doctor Masters in Sudbury for extending his life by two years with surgery. Lastly, thank you to all the compassionate staff and physicians at the SAH on 3C, the ER and Oncology.
A private family service was held by Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). If inclined, memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated as per Dennis’ wishes.
Rest in peace our precious son.
