Obituary of Rose Dew

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at F.J. Davey home in her 69th year. Loving wife of the late Steven. Dear sister and Special “Mom” of Ilia Celli. Cherished mother of Steven Dew (Nancy) and “adopted” son Aaron Wise (Sandra). She will be forever missed by her children Lisa Stevens (Paul) and Allan Dew. Treasured Grandmother of Jillian Rose Stevens and Corey Bilous. Dear sister of the late Anna Quizi (late Manfredo), Norma Battistella (late John), Paola Furgiuele (late Joseph) and cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Rose was known for her dedication and passion to her job as a Financial Advisor for over 25 years at Edward Jones. Through hard work and determination she became a Limited Partner with Edward Jones. Spending so much time together, Rose formed great relationships with her colleagues and friends which she will be fondly remembered by all.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or the FJ Davey Home would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff, remarkable nurses and PSWs at the FJ Davey Home Apple Orchard 2 for the care and compassion shown to Rose.
