Obituary of Blanche Baxter

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Blanche, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 72. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Gerald. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marie Foucault. Sister of Claire Janveaux, late Armand, John, late Rene, Nicole and Paul. Daughter-in-law of the late Margena and Erling Baxter. Sister-in-law of Greg (Lynda), Paul (Suzanne) and Heather. Blanche will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In keeping with Blanche’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial donations to ARCH or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital and to all the staff and volunteers at ARCH for the care and compassion shown to Blanche and her family.
