Obituary of Rosina Gilda Gualtieri

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce our beloved Rosina Gilda Gualtieri has passed away peacefully and gracefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the age of 89. 

Her devotion, dedication, and gentle spirit brought joy and happiness to those who were blessed to know her. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Tullio. Rosina Gilda cherished mother took great pride in all of her children: Maria (Greg), Francesco, Anna (Marco), Roberto, and Laura (John). She will always be remembered as a proud Nonna of 8 grandchildren. Daughter of the late Chiara Giuseppina Arcuri and late Antonio Cerenzia. Loving sister of her late siblings: Pasquale (Elena), Francesco (Marie Anne), Maddalena (Pietro), Ida (Raffaele), and Rita (Pasquale). She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Mom, your strength, courage, patience, determination, and love of family will never be forgotten. You were very creative in cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, and always adventurous in trying new things and experiences.  

Friends and family were invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass was held at Holy Family Parish on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations can be made to Diabetes Canada, The Heart & Stroke Foundation, or The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and would be appreciated by the family.  

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr W, Maple, ON L6A 1C6) on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
