Sister-in-law of the late MariaAntonia Cerminara (late Angelo-Antonio) and late Lina Talarico (late Giuseppe) of Italy. Mom leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Italy and relatives in Montreal. Martha Chiarella held a very special place in mom’s heart!
Mom’s home was always filled with family, friends, laughter, a fresh pot of sauce with meatballs, homemade salami and a bottle of homemade wine. She always greeted you with a big smile and a head full of rollers! She loved to joke, and she would come up with a few one-liners that had you in tears from laughing so hard! Her quick wit and sense of humor will never be forgotten. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mary’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were the light of her life and absolutely adored.
Mom knew how to let you know if you were in trouble, but she always made sure you knew how much you were loved! She taught her family to always fight for what we believed in and to make sure that you were humble enough to admit when you were wrong.
Mary had a lot of lifelong friends, many of whom she kept in touch with over the years, especially Maria DiTomasso (late Arnaldo). She was lucky enough to catch up with her good friend Giovanna Scalzo at the Davey Home.
