Obituary of Karen Charrette

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Karen at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the age of 70. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Terrance “Terry”. Cherished mother of Lisa, Christine (Martin) and Mitchell (Chara). Proud Nana of 11 and Great Nana of 5. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Hilderley. Sister of the late Judy Nicks, Marilyn Lewis (late Glen), late Kenny Hilderley, Brian Hilderley (Brenda), Chris Caple (Tim) and Jamie Hilderley. Daughter-in-law of the late Norman and the late Jacqueline Charrette. Sister-in-law of Norman Charrette (Cheryl), Charlene Godfrey (Ted), Edward Charrette (Janice), Janet Brydges (Bruce), Laurie Florio, late Margaret Paul (Mick), Estelle Irving and the late Roseanne Burch (Bob). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Karen will be especially missed by her fur baby Ki.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Come and Go Celebration of Life in the Lower Lounge at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
