Obituary of Henry Wynne

In loving memory of Henry Lewis Wynne who passed away on Tuesday, September 3,2024. Father of Murray and Jennifer. Grandfather of Melanie and Jodi, Jason, Karen, Alison and Andrew. Great Grandfather of Olivia, Clara and Isabella. Survived by sisters Terrie Levine and Lynda Rose, of London England. Predeceased by brother Michael, of St. Catharines, Ontario. Loving companion of Doris Greenwood. Active in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 (Sault Ste. Marie) and congregant of the Beth Jacob Synagogue. He will be remembered by many for his wit and humour and tenacity for life. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery-West Section on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). 

When I come to the end of my journey

And I travel my last weary mile

Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned

And remember only the smile

Forget unkind words I have spoken

Remember some good I have done

Forget that I ever had heartache

And remember I've had loads of fun

Forget that I've stumbled and blundered

And sometimes fell by the way

Remember I have fought some hard battles

And won, ere the close of the day

Then forget to grieve for my going

I would not have you sad for a day

But in summer just gather some flowers

And remember the place where I lay

And come in the shade of the evening

When the sun paints the sky in the west

Stand for a few moments, beside me
And remember only my best.
