Obituary of Elizabeth Wilton

Affectionately known as Betty, Betty Ann, mom, grandma, nana and granny, Elizabeth passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024. She lived 93 years and was a woman who was devoted to her family, her church community and her friends. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 2013 after 65 years of marriage. She leaves behind her children, Rodney, Gary (Janet), Douglas (Ann Marie and late Paula), Cheryl Hammond (David) and Michael (Lynn). She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and a new one on the way.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family funeral will be held. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Finnish Rest Home Kotitala, where Elizabeth resided for the past 5 years, and to the exceptional physicians and staff at the Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department.
