Judy, Jerry and family: When little Diana was ill, he took the time to play Santa for her. He was gentle and kind, always ready with a hug and a big smile. We loved his laugh. His spirit lives on and always will through you and your children. We feel you heaviness of heart, Eileen, Ken and family.

Our sincere condolences to all of the Chaon family. He was loved by all and will be missed by many! So many memories, from being a little girl and visiting the camp at Haviland Bay, to playing in the "extended backyards" on Pageant, to visiting at Christmas, to being an adult and introducing Dennis and my daughter, Christina. Although we moved away, we always visited with Uncle LeRoy when we were in town. He always welcomed us with a smile, a drink, and we shared laughs and a few stories. He was so proud of all his family and kept us up to date on what all were up to. We will be thinking of you all on the 24 th. All our love, Leeann, Dennis & Christina

So very sad to hear of the passing of Leroy. He was a dear friend of my parents, Gino and Gina, and will be fondly remembered by everyone who crossed his path. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent up at Leroy and Eva’s camp in Havilland Bay with the Signoretti’s, Capancioni’s, Esposti’s, Fabbro’s, Sartor’s (and others) … We all had a great time while our fathers got into many heated bocce games and mothers socialized and prepared the huge spread of food. Even in my later years I had the pleasure of golfing with Leroy and my dad when back visiting the Soo. Our prayers and thoughts are with Edna and the rest of Leroy’s family.
