Peter Krell and Eva Nagy made a donation to ALGOMA RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY HOSPICE
Liebe Gisela und Irene; It was with great sadness when Eva and I heard that Siegfried passed away. As a 3rd line neighbour I remember many happy times in your kitchen talking with you and Siegfried. My fondest memory is when, as a 3rd line kid, I needed some hay for my rabbits and Siegfried offered that I could collect the tall grass he just cut down in his back yard, for which I (and the rabbits) were very grateful. Of course he may have had ulterior motives, why collect the cut grass yourself when the neighbor kid will do it for free. I also remember how Siegfried and Gisela often invited my mother to go with them to the German club and shopping. I also appreciate your concern for my own father, inviting him for a birthday party or simply checking up on him. Irene, last year when I went to visit your parents when last I was in the Soo, I had a nice chat with your father, while your mother was busy making tea and preparing some home baking for us in the kitchen. About all your father could talk about (brag might be the better word) was you, Richard, your children and your grandchildren. He showed me your pictures. He was sooooo proud of you and your husband, his grandchildren Lindsay and Jennifer and his great grandchildren Claire Sydney and Maelle. We know you will miss him. We will too, but I will remember with fondness our various chats (and the free hay). We extend our deepest condolences to you and all of Siegfried's many friends and extended family. Love, Peter and Eva
