Please share a memory of Rebecca to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
JOBST, Rebecca (Becky) Catherine - On Tuesday May 21, 2013 our dear Becky slipped into the Lord's arms. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her parents Mark and Lynn Jobst, her sister Rachel Moxam (Jesse), and brother Mark Jobst. She will be sadly missed by her much loved grandparents Clare Bovingdon (late Bob) and Gunther and Catherine Jobst, and Patsy Eaton. Rebecca held a special spot in the hearts of her many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins: Tim & Carrie Bovingdon (Lindsay Bovingdon (Bryce), Kaylin and Karley Bovingdon) Allan & Pierrette Bovingdon (Allison, Craig & Colin) Late Bev Boreland, Glenn Boreland & Lori Trahan (Scott Boreland (Marcy St. John), late Kristofer Boreland, Holly Boreland (Daniel Oma) Lisa Deschenes (Emma and Celia Deschenes) Heidi Jobst (Jason and Hailey Case) Cathy & Dale Ingram (Sonja Leslie, Andrea Strachan, Jeremy Strachan, Brianna Langevin) Donna Ziegelman & Lorne (Bobbi Jean) Eleanor Sawatsky (Steven Burns, Dawn Santoro) and late Judy & Bob Johnston (Bobby) Rebecca touched the lives of many and will be missed by her best friends Jami MacDonald, Kristen Cupido and Sam Elliott and their families. From a very young age Rebecca made sure we knew how independent she was; she had great plans for her personal and professional life. Rebecca attended Kiwedin Public School, Korah Collegiate and Vocational School and was a successful graduate of Laurentian University where she studied for her Bachelor of Social Work. She spent her summers counselling youth at Galilean Bible Camp and taking an active role at her home church - Bethany Baptist in the off seasons. Right after graduation she took a position in Geraldton, Ontario with the Children's Aid Society for the District of Thunder Bay, where she again created many new friendships. In the fall she started taking courses towards her Masters of Social Work and had just accepted a position at North Bay Regional Hospital with plans to relocate in July. Many cherished memories will remain with us forever.
