I was saddened to hear of Ed's passing earlier today. We both worked at the Sault Police Department in the late 60s and early 70s. I have not lived in SSM for the better part of 40 years. When he became a detective, he always seemed very focused on his cases, and yet maintained a boisterous sense of humour and had the beaming smile! You have lost a wonderful person and my sincere condolences to each and every family member and personal friend who loved and shared his life.
Sending our condolences on the passing of Eddy. He was special to the Nesom family who lived on London Street. Many stories around the kitchen table included him. When John and I sold our cottage at Sand Bay / Nils, we were happy to have him purchase it and know that his years there were happy. Thinking of you as you remember him today. May he rest in peace. Brenda and Family
Our most sincere condolences to the family of Ed. Many good times were had at the Royal Canadian Legion with Ed and his fellow comrades. He was a good and honest man and will be missed greatly. Lois(Hoy)and Frank Crawford
