Obituary of Mary Gardi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother at ARCH, on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the age of 77. Our treasured mother entered heavens gate to be reunited with her loving husband Frank Gardi. Loving mother of Jennifer Benson (Ted), John Benson, Wayne Benson and the late David Benson. Cherished and loved step-mother of Linda Barone (Tony), Millie Ruffolo (Dominic), and Anna Fata. Grandmother of Chelsea and David Benson. Much loved Nanni to Jordan, Justin and Nathan Barone, Ada-Marie (Nick) and Dominic Jr. Ruffolo (Kerri), Victor (Zz) and Matthew Fata. Proud great grandmother of Tatum Ruffolo. Predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Isabel Larocque. Dear sister of Bob Larocque (late Irene), late George Larocque (Leona), late Richard Larocque (Judy). She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Ida will always be remembered for her love of music, dancing, cooking, baking, crocheting, bingo, casino's, reading and especially love of family. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Memorial donations made to ARCH or the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
