Obituary of William "Bill" Duncan Hall

It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Duncan Hall, resident of Cedarwood Lodge, on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 78, with his wife and sister by his side. Bill is survived by his wife Joan Diana (nee Lee); his sons Bill (Leigh) and David; and grandchildren Walker, Curran, Iain, Kassidy and Drake.  He is the brother of Marjorie and the late Diane. Bill will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Bill was a life-long resident of Sault Ste. Marie.  He loved sports. He played hockey from childhood and Oldtimers hockey until the age of 72. He was very involved with the Masonic Lodge.  Bill served as a trustee on the Algoma District Public School Board and was an elder for many years at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Family and friends are invited to visit at Westminster Presbyterian Church (134 Brock Street) on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 am with Rev. John Wilson officiating. Memorial donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
