Obituary of Harvey Overton Currell

Peacefully passed away at Extendicare Van Daele on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age or 98. Beloved wife of the late Josephine. Cherished father of Robert (Linda) and Judith (late John). Proud Grandfather of five and great grandfather of five. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Anne. Harvey was a remarkable man. He worked his way up from a copyboy to an editor of the Toronto Telegram and later was the Information Officer for the Etobicoke Board of Education. He wrote outdoor Ontario travel Columns for 50 years and published six books. He was one of the founders of the Bruce Trail, an iconic hiking trail in Southern Ontario. A private family service was held. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
