I am so shocked and sad to hear of Anne’s death. She was so special in my life.
Our mutual love of dry British humour and mystery novels cemented our friendship. I still smile to see the look on her face, when I presented her with a souvenir from the Scottish Golf Club, that claimed Quintin Jardine as a member. Priceless! He was our prefered Mystery writer at that time.
After I left the Soo in 2007, we kept in touch, and I always treasured her emails and phone calls. She always cheered me and made me laugh with her updates.
Her family meant everything to her, and I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure she will continue with her guidance to you from On High. Love to you all.

Dear Bob, Catherine, Colin, Andrew and families,
There are no words to describe my deepest sorrow in Anne’s sudden passing. I will always remember her part in the introduction of Neil to me at the GLP Christmas Party in 1988 and then at our wedding ceremony in 1989.
Our friendship continued throughout retirement years and I have many good memories of various functions that we attended together. Anne was so proud of her children and overjoyed with the arrival of each of her grandchildren. With love and deepest sympathy, Elsie Murray

Dear Catherine,
I'm thinking of you and your family and wishing you solace in this sad time. While I only met your mum once, the affection with which you spoke of her shone through. My deep sympathies to you and your father and brothers, I hope your memories of Anne bring you great comfort.
Sending love to the north,

My parents always enjoyed visits from Anne. Her shared love of dad’s beloved Isle of Lewis resulted in many interesting conversations over a cup of tea in our living room. Anne was very kind to mom, particularly when she started to show signs of Alzheimer’s disease. I will always appreciate Anne’s great kindness.
With my deepest condolences to Robert and family,
Ann (MacLeod) Callon

So very sorry for your loss. Your mother always impressed me with her quick wit, obvious intelligence and strength. I knew her as a Highland dance mum and then met up with her later when my father was at ARCH. She was so kind and thoughtful and I was grateful to know she was there.
